David Bergé lives in Athens and Brussels and practices photography through the lens of the body.
His work – taking the form of silent Walk Pieces, durational photo installations, performances and publications – reveals and unfolds the layers and complexities of urban infrastructure. Recent exhibitions have taken place at Extra City, Antwerp; State Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki and the Archiv der Avantgarden, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD).
Since 2007, he has been involved with choreographer Marc Vanrunxt in an artistic dialogue which has materialised over different projects and formats.
