Queens is a unique venue for exhibitions and concerts, with a special atmosphere in Louis XVI style. Its mission is to host primarily female artists, who are then encouraged to bring another artist into the space to create a stimulating dialogue.

So Denitsa Todorova invited Marc Vanrunxt to bring movement into her exhibition with a performance and a dance film.

For (based on a true story)#11 Vanrunxt enters into a dialogue with the visual works of Denitsa Todorova, creating a performance in collaboration with dancer Igor Shyshko.

ADAGIO, a collaboration between choreographer Marc Vanrunxt, visual artist Stef Van Looveren and sound designer Daniel Vanverre, is a dance film that celebrates bodies in all their fluid, inclusive forms. Filmed without scenario or written choreography, the work explores questions of gender, identity, and freedom. ADAGIO is an intense visual and aural universe that breaks through traditional narratives and embraces movement as pure essence.
