Ter gelegenheid van Antwerp Art Weekend (van 16 tot en met 19 mei 2024) organiseert het kunstenaarscollectief Stellar* een groepsshow in Katleen Vincks prachtig atelier in Duinstraat 124 te Antwerpen.
Onder de noemer SUPERSTUDIO #3 – Off the Wall wil Stellar beeldende kunst tonen van verwante beeldende kunstenaars zoals Daan Gielis, AMVK, Aline Bouvy, Bas van den Hout, Indrikis Gelzis, Serban Ionescu, Suse Weber, Zsófia Keresztes, Adrien Tirtiaux, Sybren Vanoverberghe & Bram Vanderbeke en ook eigen werk.
De titel Off the Wall is een knipoog naar de fameuze Michael Jackson lp uit 1982. Ongebruikelijk, onconventioneel, gek, wispelturig, excentriek en freaky zijn slechts een paar interpretaties.
Aanvullend brengt Marc Vanrunxt samen met performer Igor Shyhsko een sculpturale performance tijdens Superstudio #3.
Performances vinden dagelijks plaats op de volgende uren:
- do. 16 mei: 17u – 19u – 20u
- vrij. 17 mei > zon. 19 mei: 15u – 16u – 17u
On the occasion of the Antwerp Art Weekend (from 16 to 19 May 2024), the artist collective Stellar* is organising a group show in Katleen Vinck’s impressive studio at Duinstraat 124 in Antwerp.
Under the title SUPERSTUDIO #3 – Off the Wall, Stellar aims to show visual art by related visual artists such as Daan Gielis, AMVK, Aline Bouvy, Bas van den Hout, Indrikis Gelzis, Serban Ionescu, Suse Weber, Zsófia Keresztes, Adrien Tirtiaux, Sybren Vanoverberghe & Bram Vanderbeke, as well as their own work.
The title Off the Wall is a nod to the famous 1982 Michael Jackson LP. Unusual, unconventional, crazy, erratic, eccentric and freaky are just a few interpretations.
In addition, Marc Vanrunxt will bring a sculptural performance together with performer Igor Shyhsko during Superstudio #3.
Performances will take place daily at the following hours:
- do. May 16: 5 pm – 7 pm – 8 pm
- Fri. May 17 > Sun. 19 May: 3 pm – 4 pm – 5 pm
