Silas Martens

Silas Martens born 2002 in Antwerp, Belgium. Dancer, Performer, Collaborator.

Silas started his professional training at the age of twelve at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp, where he graduated in 2020. After that, he continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Following a two-year sabbatical, he finished his studies and received his Bachelor’s degree in June 2025.

During his time at the Conservatory, Silas worked with a wide variety of teachers such as Isael Cruz Mata, Tony Vezich, Renan Martins, Maria Kolegova and Borna Babić. He was also part of several creative processes and performed in pieces such as Opus #5 by Iñaki Azpillaga, Crowd by Ben Fury, To Bloom by Amanda Piña, and GRWM by Nelson Earl.

During this period, he also began creating his own work, both on himself and on others, exploring subjects such as interactivity, dance through the medium of film, and transformation.

After graduating, Silas started his freelance career, working with Zoë Demoustier on her new creation Hear The Silence.
