“Hyena was the name of the company in the 80’s and 90’s, way before Kunst/Werk.
Hyena was also the title of a performance i did in 1985 – together with Eric Raeves and Linda Swaab – dancing on Siouxsie & The Banshees in part one and on a magical soundscape by Thierry Genicot – called La Couleur de la Nuit – in the second part.
The motto of the piece was: Hyena. Een expositie in twee bewegingen. Drie monumenten komen tot leven. Witte marmer wordt gekleurd. Plooien worden opengetrokken. Hyena’s huilen. Witte nacht.
