Visual artist/scenographer Katleen Vinck and choreographer Marc Vanrunxt have been fans of each other’s work for a while. After several meetings the plan grew to work together. This year, the second edition of Dune Street Project will take place in the Sint Jans Hospital in Bruges, in the context of SLOW (36h), a festival in the Concertgebouw. Katleen Vinck will once again design all new monumental work, taking a cue from the unique environment of the hospital. Visual art and dance find each other in this site-specific collaboration.
In 2013, the first edition of Dune Street Project took place in Katleen Vinck's workshop in the Duinstraat in Antwerp-North. The first Dune Street Project was a site-specific project, which ran parallel to Vick’s exhibition at the Base-Alpha Gallery in Borgerhout.
